Writing Rules

Submitted articles and relevant forms (Author Form, Copyright Transfer Form and Anonymous Article Template) must be completely uploaded to the online system. Relevant forms must be sent with Microsoft Word 2003 and above. The rules below should be applied to the "Anonymous Article Template" and submitted to the journal.

1. Works are placed on one side of A4 size paper, 2.5 cm from the top, bottom, right and left sides. It should be prepared with spaces, 12 point font (only the abstract and abstract part should be 10 point), Times New Roman letters, 1.5 line spacing and justified.

2. The work should not exceed 30 pages.

3. The name(s) of author(s) should be given just beneath the title of the study aligned to the right. Also the affiliation, title, e-mail and phone of the author(s) must be indicated on the bottom of the page as a footnote marked with an asterisk (*).

4. Before the introduction part, there should be an abstract of 100-250 words in English. Summarizing the scope, the purpose, the results of the study and the methodology used is to be included following the abstracts. Under the English abstracts, there should be 3-5 English keywords representing the content of the study.

5. The manuscripts should contain mainly these components: title, abstract and keywords; sections, footnotes and references.

6. Tables, graphs and figures can be given with a number and a defining title if and only if it is necessary to follow the idea of the article. Otherwise features like demographic characteristics can be given within the text.

7.  In articles, decimal numbers are separated by a comma or dot for the entire article. The two points should not be used simultaneously. In order to ensure the formal integrity of the article, it should be preferred to use commas or dots and this usage should be applied for the whole article. This rule should also be followed in the display of econometric findings.

8. A title page including author information must be submitted together with the manuscript. The title page is to include fully descriptive title of the manuscript and, affiliation, title, e-mail address, postal address, phone, fax number of the author(s) and ORCIDs of all authors (see forms).

9. The scientific and legal responsibility for manuscripts submitted to our journal for publication belongs to the author(s).

10. The author(s) can be asked to make some changes in their articles due to peer reviews.

11. The studies that were sent to the journal will not be returned whether they are published or not.

12. The plagiarism rate should not exceed 20%.

13. Authors must declare whether there is any conflict of interest. If not, they should state, "The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest."

14. Authors must also state whether they received any financial support. If not, the following statement should be used: "This research has not received any external funding."

15. Author contributions must be clearly stated. Each author should indicate their involvement in idea development, research design, data collection/processing, analysis, interpretation, writing, literature review, methodology, editing, and critical revision. Author initials (e.g., ÖUB, SÇ, CEY) should be used.

16. Authors must also declare the use of AI tools, for example: "In this study, AI tools were used only for language editing."

17. Authors must state the nature and accessibility of the datasets used, for example: "The dataset used in this study is publicly available and is described in the text."

18. Ethical approvals and intellectual property rights must be stated, for example: “All ethical standards have been complied with and the necessary permissions regarding copyright and data usage have been obtained.”

19. APA 7th Edition rules should be applied in in-text citation and bibliography writing.

 Note 1: Work that does not meet the conditions listed above will not be accepted and will be returned to the author to complete the deficiencies. Articles accepted by the Publication Commission are published in the order of acceptance for publication. Print corrections are made by the authors.
